Jennifer Langford

Founder & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist


Jen is a founding Director of CHP and has post-graduate qualifications in Pelvic Floor Rehab from the University of Melbourne and in Pain Management from the University of Sydney, School of Medicine. A regular clinical supervisor and lecturer to postgrad students at UniMelb, Jen’s expertise is in pelvic health, particularly persistent pelvic pain, vulvodynia, endometriosis-pain, and continence.  

Jen has extensive experience in hospitals, private practice in Melbourne, and abroad and has worked for many years managing sporting and spinal conditions. She worked for 15 years in a continence clinic and in a multi-disciplinary pain clinic.

Her passion is to empower her patients with an understanding of their pain, working together to tailor strategies for self-management helping them return to their best. Jen enjoys a very close working relationship with expert pelvic specialists, GPs and health professionals across the city. She has published literature in vulvodynia and is involved in a large multi-site research project in endometriosis.

Jen is a Titled APA Pain Physiotherapist and a founding board member of Pelvic Pain Victoria.

Jen consults at Clifton Hill on Mondays and Wednesdays. She also consults at our Thornbury practice, Inner North Physiotherapy, on Fridays.
