WOMEN’S AND MEN’S HEALTH CLINIC
At Clifton Hill Physiotherapy we have a specialised Women’s and Men’s Health clinic dedicated to addressing the often-distressing symptoms of incontinence, pelvic pain, and bladder and bowel dysfunction. Highly educated and experienced clinicians who understand the impact of these symptoms staff our clinic.
Director, Jennifer Langford heads up the Men’s & Women’s Health team along with Kiera Hannigan. Kiera and Jen have worked in Public Continence Services for over 30 years between them and they understand the impact of pelvic dysfunction on quality of life. Jennifer has also worked in a pain clinic for 7 years and together with Kiera has a passion for managing persistent pelvic pain, applying a biopsychosocial approach and the latest in pain science knowledge to help both males and females understand and improve their persisting pelvic pain.
Physiotherapists in the Men’s and Women’s Health clinic have Post Graduate qualifications in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation and Incontinence from Melbourne university. We frequently lecture and are Clinical Supervisors on the Melbourne University Post Graduate Pelvic Floor course and we have many years experience in Public Clinics addressing these issues. Our physiotherapists also have extensive ante and post natal experience and musculoskeletal skills. We will help you with your pelvic health through your pregnancy and in the postnatal rehabilitation phase. Between them there is over 50 years of clinical experience.
We value a sensitive and comprehensive treatment approach to managing pelvic, bladder and bowel conditions for patients of all ages. Our experienced physiotherapists will educate you about your condition and provide expert physiotherapy treatment and a personalised plan with self-management strategies to get you back to your best.
Our practice offers a service that stands apart, as we value excellence in quality care delivered by highly educated, empathetic and experienced physiotherapists.
